Lumière boréale * CALACS Baie-Comeau is launching a new holiday season awareness campaign this year, under the theme of consent and caring in festive settings. As gatherings, office parties, and chalet getaways approach, we want to remind everyone that each person deserves to experience safe, respectful, and enjoyable moments.
Our two posters – “Le consentement en tout temps, même au chalet (Consent at all times, even at the chalet)!” and “In festive settings, let’s look out for one another ( En milieu festif, veillons les un·e·s sur les autres)” – invite the public to adopt a caring and vigilant attitude. Consent must always be clear, freely given, and enthusiastic, no matter the context. We also encourage everyone to play an active role in ensuring group safety: keep an eye on your friends, recognize risky situations, step in when someone doesn’t seem okay, and make sure no one is consuming or ending up isolated without their knowledge.
